SUMMER (May through September)
At Skamokawa Paddle Center you can rent single kayaks, double kayaks or canoes. Regardless of your experience, we have boats and locations for beginning paddlers to the most hardy.
No experience is necessary for paddling in Brooks Slough or in Skamokawa and West Valley Creeks. Paddling in other areas requires completion of a Skamokawa Paddle Center clinic or that of another approved school, or equivalent experience. Skamokawa Paddle Center reserves the right to limit the areas into which boats may be paddled.
Skamokawa Paddle Center business hours are 10 am - 3 pm, but rental hours from 8 am - 6 pm are available by prearrangement. We do not send boats out on the water after 3 pm except for overnight rentals. Please call or e-mail ahead (1-888-920-2777 or info@skamokawakayak.com) to reserve a boat and confirm that Paddle Center staff will be available to assist you.
